1. Privacy at a glance

General information

The following notes provide a simple overview of what happens to your personal data when you visit this website. Personal data is any data by which you can be personally identified. For detailed information, please refer to the privacy policy below this text.

Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?
Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You will find the operator's contact details in the section "Notice concerning the responsible party" in this privacy policy.

How do we collect your data?
On the one hand, your data is collected when you provide it to us — for example, when you contact us by email. Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems, or those of our hosting provider, when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g. web browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?
The data is collected solely to ensure error-free and secure provision of the website. Your user behavior is not analyzed.

What rights do you have regarding your data?
You have the right at any time to receive information free of charge about the origin, recipients, and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. Furthermore, under certain circumstances, you have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. You can contact us at any time regarding these and any other questions on the subject of data protection.

2. Hosting

We host the contents of our website with an external service provider (host). The personal data collected on this website is processed on the host's servers. This mainly concerns IP addresses and other data generated via server log files (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, time of the server request).

The host is used for the purpose of secure, fast, and efficient provision of our online offering by a professional provider (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR). Log files are stored only as long as necessary for this purpose.

Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (hereinafter "Cloudflare"). For details, please refer to Cloudflare's privacy policy: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Where data is transferred to the USA, the transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with the host or accepted the provider's corresponding terms.

3. No cookies, no tracking, no external fonts

This website does not set cookies, does not use analytics or tracking tools, and does not embed third-party content (e.g. Google Fonts, map or video services). All fonts are drawn from your device's own system fonts. A cookie banner is therefore not required.

4. General notes and mandatory information

Data protection

The operators of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.

Notice concerning the responsible party

The party responsible for data processing on this website is:

Philipp Götza, Hägerweg 22, 33613 Bielefeld, Germany
Phone: +49 (0) 152 377 427 83
Email: hallo@philipp-goetza.com

The responsible party is the natural or legal person who alone or jointly with others decides on the purposes and means of processing personal data (e.g. names, email addresses, etc.).

Storage duration

Unless a more specific storage period is stated in this privacy policy, your personal data remains with us until the purpose for the data processing no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, deletion takes place after these reasons cease to apply.

Legal bases for data processing

Data processing on this website is based on our legitimate interest in a secure and reliable provision of the website pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR. If you contact us by email, we process your data to handle your inquiry on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR.

Notice on data transfer to the USA

Our hosting provider is based in the USA. When you visit this website, your personal data (primarily IP addresses in log files) may be transferred to and processed in the USA. Please note that a level of data protection comparable to that in the EU cannot be guaranteed in the USA. The transfer is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission and — where the provider is certified — on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

If data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation. The respective legal basis can be found in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing serves the assertion, exercise, or defense of legal claims.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of their habitual residence, their place of work, or the place of the alleged violation. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another responsible party, this will only take place to the extent technically feasible.

Information, correction, and deletion

Within the scope of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to correction or deletion of this data. You can contact us at any time regarding this and any other questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. This right exists in particular if you dispute the accuracy of your stored data, if the processing was unlawful, if we no longer need the data but you need it to assert legal claims, or if, after an objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR, it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail.

SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. When encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
